Amazon.com Product Description Teach your child to ride in style with the Grommet Comet boy's single-speed training bike. The bike is equipped with such features as a pair of 16-inch tires, a set of training wheels on the back, and a bell on the front with a fish graphic. The sure-stopping coaster brake, meanwhile, keeps your child safe on both hilly and flat streets. Perhaps the coolest feature, however, is the set of surf graphics on the side, which were applied by renowned artist Drew Brophy. Simply put, you can't find a cooler training bike anywhere.

Solid Bike for a good price August 6, 2008 B. Durtschi (USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Before we bought this bike, we bought a bike at walmart. The manufacture of the parts was so poor that it was hard for my son to pedal, There was a lot of friction at certain points as the pedals went around. We took it back. We looked for a notch up, and found the Nirve with reasonably good reviews. When it came, we assembled it with the included tools, and it worked reasonably well. Their "everything" cheapo wrench was not as nice as it could have been, and an adjustable wrench allowed us to get all the bolts as tight as they needed to be. The bike was fairly easy to assemble and it coasts like it should. My son is really enjoying riding this bike.
Great Bike! Top Quality! March 3, 2008 Spunk Brophy (Southern California) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Got this bike for our son when he was four - the training wheels were a necessity! It's a unique bike, with a surfer feel to the artwork. Best thing about it is the quality - Nirve bikes are great for top quality. We love riding on the beach trail and having other kids look at us in envy!
